9月7日 It's been a long time It's been a long time since I have posted to this blog. Many things have happened in the last year that have hindered my creativity and I am going to do my best to get it back and complete some old WIP's and maybe begin to create again. I thank you all for the wonderful thoughts and emails you have sent in the last year and I hope to come back with some wonderful treats for my many friends in the crochet community. In the words of Bender Rodriguez... "We're BACK, Baby!" 9月3日 MY OTHER BLOGI would just like to take a moment to remind everyone about my other blog. I have taken a bit of time doing research and collecting information on simple ways to improve your health and your life. I practice what I preach and will generally NOT add anything on there until I have tried it and have seen improvement (Unless it is not something I can see, like cholesterol levels... which I never had a problem with anyway!) I also provide excellent recipes, most of which are healthy (Except the heavenly cake... ok... not too healthy, but sure yummy), and most of which are vegetarian (ovo-lacto, which means CAN include egg and milk products, ALL RECIPES CAN BE MADE VEGAN with proper substitutions).
I have information on weight loss (TRIED AND TRUE, lost 40 lbs using my own advice!), the importance of adding and removing certain foods to/from your diet, container gardening, sprouting, organic living, recipes and MORE.
I WELCOME ALL COMMENTS from you on either of my blogs, and value your input and suggestions, ESPECIALLY if you do make an attempt at anything that I post or even follow the recipes!

It is the only product on the market that I will use for my skin.
Try this. TREE HUT SHEA BUTTER, you get it in the Walmart Health and Beauty section for $4.88 and it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I have used this product for three days and ALREADY my hands are soft and feeling amazing where before they were chapped and bleeding (Crocheters pain!). The scents are... Mmmmm... AMAZING. I am using Brazilian Nut Shea Body Butter with Brazilian Nut Oil today and I absolutely wanna start eating my arm!!!
They have many different scents... Mango, Coconut Lime (Yummy), unscented, etc etc and I LOVE them ALL.
If you ignore every other recommendation I give you, use this one. I have never been this excited over a product and everyone who knows me can tell you I have so many problems with my skin so when I find something as amazing as this product, I wanna shout it to the world! 8月18日 New Yahoo GroupI have created a new yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/creators_of_crochet_critters This group deals mainly with crocheted animals, toys, and of course aliens. 7月1日 Well, it's officialNext week we leave Denver, Colorado and prepare for our new lives in Sterling, Virginia. Personally, I am not at all impressed with the idea of living on the east coast but it is a nice opportunity for Nazir and that is all that matters. I only wish he could have found this opportunity here in Colorado. Keep us in your prayers as this will be a long and stressful move for us. Of course, Nazir always has ways of lightening the load and cracking me up LOL
Rajah is not looking forward to the move I can guarantee it, the boxes are already scaring him. LOL Whadda wimp, huh? The rabbit loves the boxes around... more for him to gnawl on LOL We will get to Virginia and probably find that most of the boxes have holes in the bottom.
The apartment we are getting is REALLY nice. We have a fireplace (although it isn't like I am used to in AK, more ritzy LOL) and a washer and dryer in the apartment (the best part... NO MORE LAUNDROMATS!!!), a vanity, storage, a porch and more. The place really does look nice and the community looks liek a wonderful place. I hear stories from people who are from that area who tell me pro's and con's of the place LOL
So this is what I have heard.
1. It is Hot and Humid
2. It is Green
3. They have a Puppy Happy Hour in a bar in Alexandria (U know I will have to go just to see a Puppy Happy Hour LOL)
4. Three are a lot of trails to walk Rajah
5. (This is my own memory of the area from my trip to DC) The Squirrels are the size of small dogs LOL Mom will have to be careful when she brings her Pomeranians to Visit. They may get their butt kicked by an overgrown rat LOLOLOL
6. It is very large and populated.
